Product Review: Bolse® NFC Enabled Bluetooth Music Receiver – Bluetooth wireless audio receiver
I received this product in exchange of a review. This review is totally unbiased and honest.
This is the first NFC product of this kind that I use. At first glance the unit is really small, its diameter is less than 3 inches. It has an inclined surface where you will touch your smartphone to start the pairing process. It also has a button which enables the device to be visible via Bluetooth, without NFC.
The installation is really quick, just plug the unit to the provided Wall-to-microUSB adapter (1A), connect your desired Audio Out using the 3.5mm-3.5mm or the 3.5mm-RCA cables, both included. Then be sure to press the unit button for 1 second to turn it on (I forgot about that and had a message on my phone: “Cannot connect Audio Device”). Looks to me that the NFC is always on, and you need to press the button to turn on the Bluetooth. Once you tap your phone with the unit, a popup will appear on your screen, just hit yes and voila! You are ready to open your favorite music app and hear it on your stereo. The top button in the unit will also work as a Play/Pause when music is active.
If you receive a call, the music will stop and you can pick the call. Once you finish the call then the audio is back to the system. Please note that this is Bluetooth, so you need to have the phone close to the unit, somewhere below 10ft to be safe.
Wrapping up, this unit has rescued the old stereo in my family room. I attached a few pics on the product page as well.
