Product Review: Bolse® M4 Mini 2600mAh External Battery Pack Power Bank
This is my first review with a company provided product in exchange of a review. This review is totally unbiased and honest.
At first glance the package is really small. Actually small enough to accommodate the battery pack and 3 plugs. The battery pack itself measures roughly 1/2 inch by 3 inches. On the top has the bolse logo, a button that indicates current charge level and 3 status leds (full, mid, empty). On one side it has both a USB male used to charge it and a micro USB used to connect your device or any of the provided converters.
The device charges very quickly. In this case I used a Nexus 4 stock charger which outputs 1.2A and it took less than 3 hours to charge completely. Once completely charged I connected it to my dead Nexus 4. Theoretically this 2,600mAh battery pack can fully charge my Nexus 4 and have 500mAh spare. Now on real life, it managed to fully charge my Nexus 4 in 3 hours. The status led displayed an empty status, making me guess that it still had some mAh’s left.
– Small size
– Quick charge time
– Conveniently located connectors
– Status leds
– Included converters for iPhone/USB mini
– None so far
– This is the kind of device I will take with me on a work day or travel. It is really handy, portable and convenient. I am really starting to take it instead of my charger, given that for me, it’s easier to take it rather than juggle finding a wall outlet. Do not think this device will charge your device 3-4 times, because it will not. Look to a 8,000mAh or more device for extended periods of time.
I’d included a few pictures of the device for your reference.
